Curtis Allec

Safety Manager

Raised in rural Northern Nevada, Curtis is deeply committed to community, employee well-being, and maintaining safety while ensuring compliance with regulations. Inspired to help others, Curtis’s career began in law enforcement where he served as a police officer and later a captain of the Sheriff’s Deputy Reserves for a combined 10 years. Transitioning from public service, he honed his personnel management and compliance skills over 14 years in the manufacturing sector, overseeing safety compliance, training, human resources, factory crews, and shipping operations.

In 2014, Curtis joined Plenium Builders as a project engineer. After leading multiple projects, including a 3,000-sf, $7M home on the edge of Lake Tahoe that required a helicopter lift, Curtis was entrusted with the role of corporate safety manager at PB. Over his tenure, his initiatives have markedly decreased injuries, even as the company has grown from 36 to over 100 employees. His successful partnership with the Nevada OSHA consulting department, SCATS, and his motivation, persistence, and honesty have been key in advancing a proactive safety culture at Plenium Builders. For Curtis, construction offers daily learning, and a site walk-through with him showcases his sharp eye for safety. Beyond work, he enjoys family, camping, boating, riding his Harley, and restoring classic cars.
