After growing up in the Reno-Sparks area, Garrett earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Nevada, Reno and started his finance career in the transportation and logistics sector. He was soon drawn to the construction industry because of its tangible results. "Nothing is more fun than pointing out a structure you played a role in constructing. Not every industry has that," Silva says. Garrett has a natural talent for seeing the big picture and understanding how the various components of a project impact its overall outcome. He takes immense pride in his work and doesn't take putting his name on something lightly. Garrett's sarcastic sense of humor adds a fun and lighthearted element to our office culture. When he isn't managing the firm's finances, Garrett loves spending time outdoors with his family, camping, and fishing.
