Melanie Heilig

Melanie Heilig, Project Executive

Melanie Heilig, NCIDQ was named Project Executive and will lead the firm’s custom homes group. Over her career, Heilig has demonstrated her talent and knowledge across a range of unique projects while sharpening her professional set of construction management and communication skills. Team members across all disciplines and construction roles confirm she is an asset to their projects and a pleasure to work with.

Heilig is a well-rounded leader with business and field operations experience in residential and commercial construction. Her background in interior design and early career as a draftsperson gives her insight into the design process unique to a construction manager.

In her new role as Project Executive, Heilig is responsible for guiding strategy, business development, preconstruction, operations, and construction for the firm’s luxury residential portfolio which spans the Reno-Tahoe region. She will manage the custom homes group’s personnel while overseeing several projects directly.

Tobin Basta, Plenium Builders’ President said, “Melanie is an exceptional leader—authentic, focused, and committed to success on behalf of our clients and colleagues. It means a lot to me that we can move her up from within our organization to fill this important role.”

Heilig will be replacing Bob White, the firm’s current custom homes leader, who is retiring after a 34-year career in construction and seven years of service to Plenium Builders. Basta said, “We are grateful for Bob’s leadership and expertise over the years. I am sad to see him go, but I am thrilled for him to start his new chapter.”
