To access this 3,200-square-foot beach house one can take a ride on the glass funicular, which has heated tracks, or take a walk down the stairway. Either way, you will be sure to be immersed in the spectacular panoramic views of the lake. A stunning staircase surrounds the elevator which leads to the bedroom floor and the bottom floor. The bedroom floor contains two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two fireplaces with cantilevered windows to give the appearance of floating on the water.
With no road access to the beach house, the Plenium Builders team had a challenge of getting the materials to the site. All the materials were brought in either by barge or helicopter and unloaded with a crane. To stage equipment, the team built a large steel platform over the water and equipment was moved out to the platform via barge.
Much of the site grading material including soils and boulders had to be taken off site and brought back later when needed. Once the base of the foundation was completed, the Plenium Builders team used a mobile concrete batching plant at the site using 2,200 bags of concrete and 268 cubic yard bags of AG mix to mix the concrete for the foundation on site.
