Raised in Carson City, Toby began his construction career in Vail, CO before moving to the Bay Area to earn his Master’s degree and work for Opus West and The Arbor Building Group on multi-family and commercial projects. He returned to the Reno-Tahoe region to lead Q&D Construction’s structural concrete team for the Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe. Toby relocated to Salt Lake City, UT and then to Billings, MT to lead the Q&D teams planning and constructing SCHEELS super-stores. He returned home again to take the top spot in Q&D’s Building Group, strengthening client and design partner relationships over his tenure. As leader of Plenium Builders, Toby’s focus is on client service and maintaining a cohesive team culture while aligning the firm’s expertise with the right opportunities for growth. Major initiatives include enhancing employee expertise through training and expanding the firm’s community leadership by sharing the responsibility for giving and volunteering with an internal committee led by employees. Off-hours, Toby volunteers and is a sports coach for his children's teams. He and his family enjoy camping and traveling together.
