John Wallace
Senior Project Manager
With multiple family members in construction, John was exposed to many facets of the industry while he was in school. When selecting a potential career, architecture seemed of interest, but the major was so popular that enrollment was at an all-time high. John took his creativity and practical skills and headed straight for a construction career, obtaining a BS in Construction Management from California State University, Fresno.
John's strengths in project management are evident in his thoroughness, analytical mindset, attention to detail, and thoughtful demeanor. He finds fulfillment in the teamwork and camaraderie of construction projects, as well as the continuous learning of new methods and technologies, ultimately deriving a sense of accomplishment from a job well done.
A self-starter and Jeep enthusiast, John says he "exhausted the bolt-on, DIY-accessory modifications available" for his hobby. To get more creative and fiscal control, he took welding courses at Truckee Meadows Community College, obtaining full SMAW and GMAW professional welding certifications.
Described as fair, trustworthy, and knowledgeable, John's character is the bedrock of his professional ethos. Beyond work, he enjoys spending time with his family camping, off-roading, target shooting, and listening to music.
