Horiba Reno R&D Facility
When it was time for Horiba, a scientific instrument manufacturer headquartered in Japan, to relocate and expand their Nevada operations, Plenium Builders worked with their team and the designer to transform a nine-year-old tilt-up concrete warehouse and office space into their new facility.
The team modified the existing office layout and added new modern finishes to meet the client’s specifications which included efficiency and worker comfort.

In a second phase, PB built out state-of-the-art clean rooms and customized, tightly controlled laboratory environments for the development and testing of their analytical and measuring systems used in the semi-conductor manufacturing industry. The design-build team took the extensive criteria provided by Horiba engineers and implemented it into a one-of-a-kind facility. This phase also included a mezzanine of the lab with additional office space, training, and conference room.
