Downtown Reno is set to welcome an extraordinary venue that blends elegance, engineering, and entertainment. Jacobs Entertainment, in collaboration with design leaders One Studio D+A, is transforming the top level of J Resort’s west tower into a stunning 26,000-square-foot event space called Rolling Art which is a combination of a 400-seat banquet hall and an exhibition space designed to showcase a $50 million collection of European sports cars, including the iconic “Big Five” Ferrari supercars.
Leadership in Design and Purpose
This project reflects Jacobs Entertainment’s $130 million commitment to revitalizing Reno’s Neon Line district and caps off a total of over $550 million in improvements to the site. With the vision of One Studio D+A leading the design, the space will offer not just a breathtaking car exhibit but also a state-of-the-art venue for events. Visitors will experience a seamless fusion of craftsmanship, engineering artistry, and hospitality.
Crafting the Space with Care
Plenium Builders has been selected as the general contractor to support this ambitious vision. Though still in its early stages of construction, the project will involve enclosing the top level of the west tower’s parking garage with a structural steel building, featuring curved exterior elements and meticulous finishes. Lighting and custom pedestals will highlight the automobiles’ artistry, creating an immersive experience for car enthusiasts and event attendees alike.
Elevating Reno’s Cultural Landscape
Rolling Art exemplifies Jacobs Entertainment’s dedication to innovation and community enrichment. Plenium Builders is proud to support Jacobs Entertainment and One Studio D+A in delivering a space that elevates downtown Reno, offering a premier venue for events while celebrating the artistry of fine automobiles.
