Western Nevada Supply serves the construction industry and the public with building supplies, system components, and fittings and fixtures. They also are vendors of large equipment for systems like plumbing and HVAC. So, when it came time to modernize their business to maximize operational efficiency and the fulfillment of customers’ orders, they opted to develop the parcel north of their existing complex.
This 89,000-square foot project includes a 13,500-square foot remodel of existing warehouse space and a new metal building with a TPO roof for the additional 74,500 square feet. It will expand Western Nevada Supply’s local delivery and mail-order capabilities, accommodate material storage, and have a dedicated space for shipping and receiving. The design implements distribution center science and pick system technology to optimize logistics within the building. It also contemplates future expansion to the east.
